Recently I’ve been really into experimenting with my accessories. Over the summer I finally got my ears re-pierced after not having worn earrings for 10 years. (I know! Crazy right?!). Ever since I got them re-pierced I’ve been completely obsessed with wearing earrings. I noticed that I automatically felt so much more stylish and put-together whenever I was wearing earrings. It got me thinking about how much an accessory can really improve your outfit. So, I thought why not write a little post about a few of my favourite pieces of jewellery for enhancing your everyday looks.
A Bold Earring
As you know already… I’m addicted to wearing earrings. So, it’d only be right for me to start this post off with a feature pair (…or two) of earrings. The first is a pair that I picked up from my most recent trip to Malaga. My parents had visited Malaga a few times in the past and they brought me back a gorgeous statement ring the last time that they visited. They told me about the shop that they bought the ring from and it sounded like my dream jewellery shop. When it came to visiting the city myself I knew I had to take a trip to the shop and pick up some more pieces of their jewellery. So I did!
The second pair of earrings are honestly some of the most “me” pieces of jewellery that I have ever seen. Kindly gifted to me by the lovely Leo With Love, they’re going to be the perfect piece to wear with my poloneck jumpers in the Autumn/Winter time. Other than the fact that they’re absolutely stunning earrings, they’re also incredibly lightweight which is exactly what I look for in a larger earring. The last thing you want is to be able to feel your earrings dragging down your earlobes and these one’s definitely don’t!
For anyone that’s looking to pick up a pair of your own, these ones are the Dilly Earrings.
A Ring with a Splash of Colour
I’ve always been a fan of wearing rings but I’ve often struggled to find ones that flatter my hands. I don’t exactly have dainty hands so it can be difficult to find rings that aren’t too small against them. Does anyone else feel my pain?! Anyway, because of this I often opt for a larger ring. They look a little bit more in-proportion to my hands! This stunning orange teardrop ring looked absolutely perfect. Again, I bought this one in Malaga from the same shop as my earrings so apologies to anyone who wants one of their own!
A Statement Necklace
Of course I had to mention this one! I always feel as though an outfit is never complete without a necklace. Whether that be a dainty, thin chain or a bold pendant, there are so many options! I chose to feature a new favourite of mine from Cos. I bought this one in the early summer sales this year for half-price and I’m so excited to style it. Again, this is one that I think will be perfect for the Autumn/Winter. Paired with a white shirt, t shirt or even a polo neck. The olive green shade adds a little bit of something extra to any outfit and is slightly out-of-the-ordinary to the usual black/grey shades of a lot of necklaces.
Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed reading this post and have maybe gained a bit of accessory inspiration. Let me know what your go-to accessories are in the comments. Which piece was your favourite from my selection?
