We’re officially half-way through 12 Days of Blogmas! I’m loving the challenge of posting everyday and starting to get more and more into the festive spirit as I’m writing. Although I’m starting to feel festive, it’s come to my attention that some of you might not be feeling the same. So, I’ve put together a list of some of my favourite ways to starting feeling a little bit more Christmassy.
Watch Your Favourite Christmas Film
This is a pretty straightforward way to start the festivities. When I was working towards my deadlines this month I made sure to watch my favourite Christmas films to try and take my mind off university stress. I think because I spent so much time getting work done, when I had any free time I used it to get into the festive spirit. I’d definitely recommend this for anyone who has deadlines this week! It’ll stop you from feeling like you’re missing out on the fun.
Think About Your Christmas Day Outfit
Something that I love about Christmas is getting a new outfit. Any excuse to dress up and I’m there. You don’t even need to leave the comfort and warmth of your home to do it either. Buying yourself something new for Christmas day is a great way to get yourself slightly more excited about this time of year. It could be something as simple as a new pair of earrings or a new lipstick, or a full ensemble. The main thing is to get something that makes you feel amazing. I’ll be writing a post all about my top fashion picks for Christmas so keep an eye out if you need any last minute inspiration.
