Let’s just start off by saying that I’ve handed in my dissertation and I’m back! I’m so ridiculously overjoyed to have it handed in and to start feeling the festivities. So, since that’s all boxed off it’s time to get started on my version of Blogmas: 12 Days of Blogmas. Although the posts will work as a countdown to Christmas, not all of them are going to be festive. It’s more of a challenge for myself to get 12 posts on my blog than to make sure that every post has a festive feel to it. With that in mind, to kick it off I thought I’d write a post about my post recent trip away to Seville and some of my favourite outfits from the trip.
Day 1: Daytime Look
You might recognise this blouse from my University OOTD post. As you can tell its quickly become a favourite of mine. Something that I loved about travelling in the Winter was that I could wear a few of my autumn pieces because the weather was a bit warmer. Back in the UK I’m pretty much stuck wearing jumpers all day. Although I love a good jumper, it’s nice to branch out and wear something a little different every now and then. I chose to pair my white blouse with Topshop beige culottes. Back in the summer I managed to swipe these trousers for a sweet £5. I know, what a bargain! As someone who often wears a lot of dark colours, it was fun to work a lighter look. I definitely don’t shy away from colour but I do opt for bolder prints and colours in my day-to-day outfits. Wearing a subtle shade was something new for me. To finish off the look I went for my classic lightweight Dr Martens. I added a few accessories and off I went for a day of tapas eating and sangria drinking.

Day 2: Evening Look
My next outfit from the trip was my Thursday evening look. Having bought a new pair of boots last month I wanted to make the most of wearing them in the evenings of the holiday. So, when it came to styling them up I thought I’d opt for a midi dress and boot combination. As a huge vintage lover I love featuring a bit of vintage fashion whenever I can. This outfit definitely does just that. Vintage coats are some of my favourite things to find when perusing charity and vintage shops and I always seem to stumble across a great coat when I take a trip to them. This one is my absolute favourite for Autumn/Winter time and gives me such matrix vibes whenever I wear it. This green leather coat is probably my best purchase to date. At only £20 and found in a local charity shop I’m afraid to say that I have no clue where you could find your own on the high street. However, if you somehow manage to stumble across one of your own, here’s how I’ve styled it up.
Of course I had to add a bit of bling to the outfit with a few of my favourite pieces from Calamita. I love a big, bold ring and this one has become a regular of mine to wear day or night. Plus it distracts from the bobble that’s around my wrist (…not my best look!).

Day 3: Evening Look
My final outfit from my trip is a second evening look. Again, featuring my lovely leather over the top of it, this one is a little bit more glam than my Thursday night look. I went for a bit of a 70s inspired outfit for my final night which is so very me indeed. Adding a mustard suede mini skirt into the mix is something that you might not think would work but I promise you its a look! Pair the skirt with a simple black top and some 70s style accessories and you’ve got yourself a winner.

Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed this little window into what I wore on my trip and have possible gained some inspiration for your own outfits. I’ll be writing a few posts about my trip to Seville over the next 12 days so stay tuned for more. Have any of you got a winter holiday planned or are you opting for staying at home and getting cosy in front of the fire this year?
